Membership Information
PGS
currently consists of over 50 dues-paying members, including academic
geologists, applied geologists working at local companies and in government,
and “layman” geologists. Membership is open to everyone.
Benefits
of membership include:
» monthly meetings (September through May) with lectures on a broad range of geologic topics
» occasional
day-long field trips (June) that survey regional Pennsylvania geology
» updates on
other Philadelphia-area geology seminars and lectures
» meeting and
communicating with other local geologists
