What We Need to Know
for Successful Carbon Sequestration
Dr. Gene Ulmer, Temple University Emeritus
Despite the scientific discovery of CO2 in 1756,
the properties of CO2 as would pertain down the geothermal gradient
in deep geologic sequestration are still being developed, particularly at
pressures greater than 10 atmospheres. This talk will explore what data are yet
needed for successful sequestration-designing and what labs are working on
obtaining these data.
